Expectations Governing these Awards

• Scholarships and Bursaries are awarded to students who intend to pursue studies to the Higher School Certificate level at The Armidale School. Upon your acceptance of this award, the TAS Foundation will pay to the School the cost of educating your child on your behalf, up to the annual amount of the Scholarship or Bursary. These payments are derived from income generated by the TAS Foundation’s investments.

• Payment of school fees and any extras, ie excursion costs, must be kept current at all times.

• Should a student change status from boarding to day student or the reverse, the Scholarship award will be reviewed in light of the change of status.

• All awards are made subject to satisfactory academic performance, the student’s participation in and positive contribution to, the life of the school.  Awards are formally reviewed annually.

• Scholarships and Bursaries are dependant upon the ongoing availability of funds designated for this purpose to the School. Accordingly, if the School offers an  Award to your son, it does so subject to the continued availability of those funds and reserves the right to withdraw in whole or part the Award and/or to vary its duration in the event of those funds no longer being available.
