P&F Organisations and EventsClothing ShopVivienne Tearle is the manager of the TAS Clothing Shop. Parents are asked to assist with the running of the shop as a way of keeping costs down and making it a friendly, welcoming place for new parents. The shop is open every Monday and Wednesday from 1 – 5.30pm and Friday 1-5.00pm. Helpers can assist with counter sales, restocking, labelling stock and sorting second hand uniforms.
TAS Primary Rugby Carnival – 16th and 17th AprilThis carnival brings primary aged players from all over NSW and QLD with over 2000 visitors to the school that weekend. The P&F and Rugby Committee run various food outlets, a BBQ, cakes and coffees, and a Canteen with soup, pies, drinks etc. Over the weekend we need volunteers to man the stalls and also people willing bake cakes, slices, biscuits and soup. Mothers Day Lunch - 7th MayThis lovely event is run by the school, in conjunction with the P&F. We would love Mothers of all ages to join us for this lunch and fashion parade. We will need volunteers, men, women and children to model the wonderful outfits. No experience necessary.
TAS BallThis is to be held in Term 3 (date to be confirmed) and promises to be a wonderful event. We are forming a Ball Committee and would love to hear from some enthusiastic helpers. Otherwise we really encourage you to plan a table to really support this evening.
RazzamaTAS Fete – Saturday 29th October 2011This is our major fundraiser for the year, a great community event and a chance for the whole school to come together. We are always looking for new and interesting ideas for stalls and would love to hear from you if you have any. Regular fete meetings will be held closer to the event and all interested volunteers are welcome to attend.
TAS PudsIn Term 3, a group of parents get together to make our delicious and quite famous Gourmet Christmas Puddings. These are sold at the fete, and throughout the school and community in the lead up to Christmas. You can help out by joining in on these fun cooking days or by donating some delicious ingredients.
Rugby Soup KitchensThese are run from the McConville Centre during the Rugby season at all home games. Soup kitchens are run by the P&F with the help of a committee. We need volunteers to make soup, bake cakes and serve at the canteen.
