Sir John Sulman - original TAS Architect (external site) Opening of Sandilands Studio - Anzac Day 2006[Click here for a transcript of the address given on behalf of the OBU during the Dedication Ceremony for the opening of the Sandilands Studio.]  The Sandilands Studio commemorates three brothers who all joined the RAAF and who were each killed on active service. The "Studio" part of the name refers to the original intention by the architect of the building, who designed the room as an art studio, with a large south-facing window. The room now displays a selection of the School's military archive material from WW1 through to Vietnam.
Air Commodore Brown (Commander Air Combat Group), who performed the opening ceremony, together with Russel Leith, OB, ex Spitfire pilot and author.
