Unsure where a field is? Go to the Association's website, click on 'Library' (left-hand side of the home page) and then 'Field Layouts' for aerial photos of field locations or see attached

How to Navigate the Website
I have had enquiries as to how to navigate the web site. The ADFA address is:
http://www.adfafootball.sportingpulse.net
There are a range of viewing options. I believe the best for a club is to click on "Club Websites" go down to and click on "Your Club".
This view shows all the teams for your club in alphabetical order.
Clicking on an individual team's "Fixture" brings up the next round for that team.

Then clicking on "Season Fixture" shows the season draw for that team.
This can be printed via a "right click" with mouse in the fixture area and select "Print" then send it to a printer. The printed version has some quality control in that the date of printing is on the draw.
Save what ever view works for you as a favourite.

Another option is to look at each age groups draw. At the ADFA web site click on "Fixtures/Results" this brings up each competition. Select "Fixture" for a competition brings up this weekend draw for that competition. Other weeks can be selected by clicking on the Round number.

The draws on the web site are the most current. The changes since the first published draw are documented at the front of the ADFA web site.

Trip to St Ignatius College Riverview Gala Day - 13 / 14 May

Introduction to the 2011 season

It has been a busy start to the year on the Football front.
Our 1st XI have experienced a fantastic start to the season where they competed successfully in the NCSA Championships gaining 6 boys into the representative team and winning the Competition. They have also just returned from Competing in a Carnival in Sydney against some of the best teams from NSW and Victoria where the boys once again did themselves and their school extremely proud! Standouts at the Carnival included Goal Keeper Matt Wykneit, Defenders Nick Boulus (C) and Levi McKenzie Kirkbright and Midfielder Ben Wright. This tournament gave the boys the opportunity to compete at the highest level and to be scrutinised by the current Australian Schoolboys and U19 Coaches.

Other initiatives include:
We have moved our main football oval from it's current location, The Cricket Oval, to Adamsfield at the front of the school. We will have new seating, new posts and nets and hopefully this will be a real picture on what is undoubtedly the best playing surface of all TAS fields.

  1. We will be setting up 2 fields on the cricket oval (approximate U12 size)
  2. Our 1st XI squad will also be included in the CIS Cup which is a state wide Independent schools competition.
  3. For the first time, our whole secondary school football program has been invited to join a gala day of trials with Sydney Grammar School, The Scots College and Riverview (at Riverview) on the 14th May. We are hoping to take 12 A and B, 14 A and B, 16 A and B and 1sts and 2nds.
  4. We are hoping to have a football season launch in week 3 of Term 2 highlighted by a very special guest for the afternoon.
  5. Our 1st and 2nd XI will be receiving new kit from KooGa that looks fantastic this year.
  6. The Armidale District Football Association has established the New England Football League for its Seniors’ competition in recognition of the drawing area for this.
  7. There have been head coaches appointed for each Football age group. I am keen to see the age groups train together and the Head Coach lead the direction for the session.
  8. Some of our coaches completed a Level 1 Coaching course over the weekend just passed.
  9.  We are establishing links with Northern NSW Football in the hope of developing a schools based competition (based in Tamworth or Armidale) in the future. (TOAD CUP and Prime Cup are two successful examples of this)

Finally and very importantly Howard Stubbs Northern NSW Football Development Manager has offered a coaching session for all coaches which was well attended.
