Welcome to Boarding at TAS

When TAS was founded in 1894 it was a boarding school for the sons of the gentry. This first, small group of boys must have wondered how their best interests were being served by the upheaval of being sent from home to boarding school. Yet a strong sense of spirit and community very quickly developed amongst the boys.

The succeeding decades have seen significant changes in boarding styles and facilities but the strong spirit developed in those early days still persists.

Now a school for sons of families from all walks of life, TAS continues to regard the boarding experience as an educational and social advantage.

We offer seven-days-a week boarding with in a comfortable, secure environment that helps boys develop responsibility and self-reliance.
