IDEALS Week 2017

The inaugural TAS IDEALS Week (7-11 August) brought the Round Square IDEALS to life through a range of real and genuine experiences that are not encountered through the regular curricular and co-curricular programs.
The design of IDEALS Week is intentionally sequential beginning with the Year 6 ‘Prelude to Democracy’ excursion to Canberra then following with Years 7 – 11 each focusing on a separate element of the program.

Only the Adventure component is omitted from the week because this is comprehensively covered as students’ progress from Bush Skills in Year 6 to Rangers, Cadets, and beyond as they choose Cadet leadership, Rural Fire Service, Surf LifeSaving or Expeditions.
