These scholarships are tenable for the three years of Middle School only. They are based on academic merit and are assessed following the results of a scholarship examination and an enrolment interview. TAS Foundation Academic Scholarships (For students entering Years 7, 8, 9,10 or 11) These scholarships are based on academic merit and are assessed following the results of a scholarship examination and interview. The Academic Assessment Services Scholarship Exam will be held at TAS on Monday 17 February, 2020. For more information about the exam, visit the Academic Assessment Services website. (For boarding students entering Years 7 to 11) These scholarships are offered to families who principally reside in north and northwest NSW. They are needs based and awarded to students who display good character and perceived potential. The ability to contribute positively to the general life of the school and to embrace opportunities is a valuable attribute. Regional Boarding Scholarships take into account the interests and achievements of the applicant as well as the financial need of the family. At the heart of the philanthropic centre of the School, since it was established in 1983, is the TAS Foundation. Its purpose is to generate funds to enable the School to give financial assistance and to continually develop the campus through new and improved facilities.
