August 7 – 11

The inaugural TAS IDEALS Week for all students in Years 6 – 11 will offer an exciting opportunity for enrichment and challenge.

The purpose of the week is to bring the Round Square IDEALS to life through a range of real and genuine experiences that are not encountered through the regular curricular and co-curricular programs.

The design of IDEALS Week is intentionally sequential beginning with the Year 6 ‘Prelude to Democracy’ excursion to Canberra then following with Years 7 – 11 each focusing on a separate element of the program.

Only the Adventure component is omitted from the week because, as you will know very well, this is comprehensively covered as students’ progress from Bush Skills in Year 6 to Rangers, Cadets, and beyond as they choose Cadet leadership, Rural Fire Service, Surf LifeSaving or Expeditions.

Please use the menu on the left for more information about each specific program or the framework that forms the foundation of the activities in IDEALS Week.
