Bringing together learning connected to Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, the academy seeks to ensure that students will be equipped with the skills and knowledge they will need. Activities will be operated by TAS STEM teachers, there will be prizes to be won!
Join us for a fun and inspiring lift-off where students aged 4 – 14 years will be excited and engaged by activities such as:
Computational Thinking and Informatics
F1 Formula 1 Building Challenge
Forensic crime solving
Coded drone challenge
‘Skylap’ aerodynamic racing
Digital Farm Hand ( Designed by the clever bots at AGERRIS will be on display)
‘Oculus Go’ Virtual reality
Challenges and puzzles
‘Are you smarter than a 5th grader’ challenge
TAS STEM Academy is proudly supported by UNE Science, F1 In Schools Australia, Agerris.
STEM Activities are from 1 – 4pm with a BBQ from 12:30pm
